Doha: September 10 - The Qatar Basketball Federation has announced the calendar of its three official competitions for the new sports season (2024-2025), which will officially start on Oct. 19 and conclude on May 3, 2025. The Federation published on its official website Tuesday the schedule of its three main competitions this season, as the competitions will begin with the Qatar Cup Championship, then the General League Championship, and finally HH the Amir's Cup Championship. The basketball season will begin with the Qatar Cup, which will be held between October 19 and 29, and will conclude with HH the Amir Cup, which will be held between Apr. 5 and May 3, 2025. The general league matches this season are scheduled to be held in five stages, with the first round to be held between Dec. 3, 2024 and Jan. 1, 2025, then the second round from January 4 to Feb. 2, 2025, then the third round between March 1 and 9, 2025, followed by the semi-final round between March 11 and 17, 2025, and the final round from March 20 to 26, 2025.
