Chinese Ambassador: The situation in Iraq is stable and moving towards the best with the efforts of the Sudani government

The Chinese Ambassador to Baghdad, Cui Wei, confirmed that the situation in Iraq is stable and moving towards the best, with the efforts of the government of Muhammad Al-Sudani.

He stressed in a press conference today that the recent Arab summit is important and successful, and that the Chinese-Arab cooperation continues and will witness progress during the coming period, stressing that the return of the Syrian president to the Arab summit after the absence of evidence of the clear desire for solidarity and resolving crises for the sake of the peoples of the region whose fate must be in their hands and not meddling in their affairs.

He added, "The summit of the seven countries in Hiroshima increased crises in the world, especially by attacking China, which it rejected because of these countries' attempt to dominate the world and interfere in the affairs of countries, and this matter is over and will not return.

He stressed that the economic conditions in the world are not good, and China increased its revenues during the first quarter of this year, against the backdrop of Western demands to disengage from China.

He pointed out that the relations with Iraq are important and strategic due to the desire of the two countries to increase this cooperation.

He pointed out that this year marks the tenth anniversary of the launch of the Road Belt Initiative, through which China signed contracts with dozens of countries and hundreds of international companies and increased the volume of trade with the countries participating in this initiative to more than 2 trillion dollars, and the volume of Chinese investments in the countries participating in this initiative reached hundreds of billions of dollars.

He stressed that the Iraqi-Chinese cooperation is not limited to one side, but includes all fields of infrastructure, oil, gas, etc., and cooperation in the field of telephone, internet, iron and cement factories, motorcycles that were assembled inside Iraq, airports, schools and residential complexes.

He explained: Iraq is important to China within the framework of the Road Belt Initiative, which has achieved fruitful results. We will make efforts to improve Iraq's economic, industrial and developmental situation.
