Civil Defense Directorate teams closed a number of projects that violated safety requirements and the provision of fire-fighting equipment in Babylon today, Monday. Civil Defense Media Director Aqil Abdullah said, "Based on the order of the governor, the supreme president of the Civil Defense, the Civil Defense Directorate of Babylon Governorate has begun implementing the Civil Defense Law stipulating the closure of projects that violate the safety instructions issued by the Civil Defense Directorate, including the failure to provide firefighting supplies and the use of sandwich panels and automatic packaging Kabond. He added that a number of projects, buildings and shops in violation have been closed throughout the governorate and the campaign will continue as a deterrent measure taken by the Civil Defense Directorate.
