Manama, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received a number of senior BDF officers. Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs, and Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff, were present. The Commander-in-Chief and the senior officers exchanged congratulations on Eid Al Fitr, wishing each other many happy returns on this occasion. The Commander-in-Chief said that the BDF will continue to enhance its weaponry and units with advanced military systems, combat equipment, and training under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister.
