He added that the shooting events feature over 30 experienced international judges, including 20 from Qatar, with the rest from India, Saudi Arabia, Oman, UAE, and Bahrain, ensuring high standards of international officiating. Al Hammadi explained the qualification system for the trap final, scheduled for Tuesday, where the top two shooters from each country, totaling eight shooters, will advance. The same system applies to the pistol events.
Regarding the mixed trap team event, each country may register two teams, but only the best-performing team will advance to the final, which will include four teams, each consisting of one male and one female shooter. The mixed team trap competition will start Wednesday, with each team shooting 150 clay targets. The top four teams will qualify for the final.
In conclusion, Al Hammadi expressed his hope that Qatari shooters continue achieving positive results and winning more medals in the remaining shooting events.
