The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau (CSGDB) in the State of Qatar has launched the Institute of Public Administration's training plan for the year 2022, which is scheduled to start in the mid-January 2022. The Institute of Public Administration at CSGDB has worked on surveying training needs of 54 government entities subject to the Civil Human Resources Law, which were trained in 8 workshops in February 2021 on forms to identify training needs of administrative and specialization tracks.
CSGDB said in its statement yesterday that circumstances of employee's promotion and trainees' needs were taken into consideration via multiple options related to timings and dates of holding training programs. This is by providing these training programs via regular trainings or remotely trainings, with showing flexibility toward shifting the training plan programs from regular programs into remotely programs, if the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues, as the Bureau explained.
The Bureau noted an agreement with some government entities for the implementation of specialization training programs. They are for example: Cybersecurity, in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Agency, internal audit in collaboration with Qatar University (QU) and statistical programs in collaboration with Planning and Statistics Authority, in addition to the implementation of requests of government entities related to specialization special training programs.
CSGDB also disclosed the implementation of training programs for job seekers, such as qualifying graduates for labor market, in collaboration with QU, and qualifying social security beneficiaries in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Family.
