Dr. Mona Al Maslamani, Medical Director of the Communicable Disease Center at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), said that the quarantine period for those whose test results show positive for infection with Covid-19 begins from the date of taking the swab rather than the date of receiving the result, pointing out that the quarantine period is 10 days.

She further indicated that for quick examination services that are conducted for those coming back to Qatar, the results of the tests appear automatically on the EHTERAZ app within 4 hours at most, if the examination was conducted in one of the Primary Health Care Corporation centers, or one of the HMC facilities.
