Education Ministry delegation visits Samsung

The Ministry of Education, represented by Nawal Ibrahim Al Khater, Undersecretary for Policies, Strategies, and Performance, and Teflah Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Chief of Standards and Quality Assurance, joined a Middle Eastern delegation on a visit to Samsung Electronics Company's headquarters in South Korea at the invitation of the company.

The delegation included officials from the GCC, Egypt, and Jordan, to learn about the company's latest innovations in its various fields of work, especially in education.

It also visited Samsung Digital City and its research and development center.

The Education Ministry Undersecretary talked about the Kingdom's e-learning system, the steps the ministry has taken in digital transformation, and the success achieved in sustaining the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The delegation's programme included a tour of two schools affiliated with Samsung Group where it was briefed on their information delivery techniques using the latest technologies and their educational and administrative services. The visit also included a demonstration of students’ experiences using smart devices during classes.
