Doha: The 3rd edition of the Electronic Qatar Stars League (E-QSL) commences on Monday: The tournament will be held at the Mall of Qatar until April 22, featuring 12 teams from the 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League clubs, divided into two groups.
According to Qatar News Agency, Group A consists of Al Rayyan, Al Duhail, Al Arabi, Qatar SC, Al Shamal, and Al Gharafa. Meanwhile, Group B includes teams such as Al Sadd, Al Sailiya, Al Wakrah, Al Shahania, Umm Salal, and Al Ahli. The tournament's structure is set to see Group A matches on Day 1, followed by Group B games on Day 2, with the final rounds taking place on Day 3.
The competition will adopt a one x one format, where the top four teams from each group will move forward to the quarterfinals. This will be succeeded by the semifinals and eventually, the final match. Teams and players are not only competing for the championship title but also for a spot in the qualifiers for the 2026 Esports World Cup.
