Doha: European stocks declined Wednesday as investors awaited quarterly earnings reports and the complex outlook for oil markets. The Stoxx 600 index closed down 0.65 percent at 602.64 points, with most sectors and major exchanges declining.

According to Qatar News Agency, France's CAC 40 fell 0.39 percent to 8,072.13 points. Meanwhile, Britain's FTSE 100 dropped 1.16 percent to 10,213.11 points, reflecting broader market concerns. Germany's DAX also experienced a decline, slipping 0.31 percent to 23,943.74 points.
