Doha: Deposit rates at their opening as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been released, detailing the rates for various currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD. These rates vary based on the duration of the deposit, ranging from 1 month to 12 months.
According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD start at 3.63940 for 1 month, increasing to 3.76651 for a 12-month duration. For JPY, the rate begins at 0.70000 for both 1 month and 2 months, rising to 1.18000 for a 12-month deposit. The CHF rates show a slight variation, starting at -0.09000 for 1 month and moving to 0.13000 for 12 months. GBP rates begin at 3.67000 for 1 month, reaching up to 4.57000 for a 12-month deposit.
The QAR deposit rates start at 4.05000 for a 1-month period and decline to 3.75000 for a 12-month period. SAR rates begin at 4.50000 for 1 month, maintaining a level of 4.30000 from 2 months through to 12 months. The AED rates vary from 2.05000 for 1 month to 3.15000 for 12 months. Lastly, the BHD rates start at 4.60000 for a 1-month period, decreasing to 4.10000 for a 12-month period.
