French President to Visit China Wednesday

The Chinese foreign ministry announced Monday that French President Emmanuel Macron will visit China at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.

In a press statement, the ministry's spokesperson Hua Chunying said that the French president will pay a state visit to China from April 5 to 7.

The Elysee had announced that Macron would hold in-depth discussions during his visit about the ongoing war in Ukraine and the return of peace.
