Doha: The Gulf Cooperation Council strongly condemned an Israeli attack targeting military infrastructure in southern Syria.

According to Qatar News Agency, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Al Budaiwi stated that the attack not only targeted Syrian territory but also threatened regional security and stability. He emphasized the importance of respecting Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and rejected any foreign interference in its internal affairs.

Al Budaiwi further highlighted that Syria's stability is crucial for the broader regional security landscape. He called for adherence to the principles outlined in the UN Charter to maintain international peace and security.
