Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi met Gulf Radio and Television Organistion Majri Director General Mubarak Al Qahtani.

The secretary general praised the distinguished efforts exerted by the organisation towards elevating media cooperation among GCC member states, highlighting the significance of its role in achieving the aspirations set out by Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC countries.

The meeting discussed ways to promote joint GCC work in all fields, and reviewed the active role of the organisation, whose contributions include organizing training courses, providing consultations and studies, arranging coordination and cooperation between radio and television bodies in the GCC countries, in addition to holding festivals and media forums.
