HH the Amir Appoints New Board for Qatar Anti-Doping Agency

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued Amiri Decision No. 21 of 2026, appointing the Board of Directors of the Qatar Anti-Doping Agency. The decision outlines the new leadership structure for the agency, which is tasked with overseeing anti-doping efforts in the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the newly appointed board will be chaired by Dr. Abdulwahab Abubaker Al Musleh, with Dr. Ahmed Ali Al Mohammed taking on the role of Vice-Chairman. The board also comprises Dr. Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Emadi, Dr. Einas Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, Brigadier General Abdulaziz Ali Al Sulaiti, Mubarak Mohammed Al Ali, and Dr. Moza Suleiman Al Hail as members.

The decision specifies that the board members will serve a four-year term, with the possibility of renewal for one or more similar terms. This initiative aims to ensure continuity and stability in the agency's anti-doping activities.

The Amiri Decision is effective immediately from the date of issue and will be published in the official gazette to formalize the appointments and inform the public.
