Manama, Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received the President of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, on Sunday. The minister praised the role of the Arab Parliament and its support of Bahrain's approach and policies. He noted that the rapid challenges and developments required intensifying efforts, cooperation, and coordination to promote Arab security work. He added that the Arab Parliament has a vital role in developing joint Arab work through its human rights reinforcement initiatives. The two parties discussed areas of cooperation and coordination to develop joint Arab work mechanisms and topics related to promoting Arab security capabilities in facing challenges.
