Iraq and the Digital Cooperation Organization in Saudi Arabia discussed prospects for future cooperation and opportunities available to enhance coordination between the two sides. A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Iraqi Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Safia Al-Suhail, visited the headquarters of the Digital Cooperation Organization in Riyadh and met with the Secretary-General of the Organization, Dima Al-Yahya, where they discussed the prospects for future cooperation and the opportunities available to enhance coordination between Iraq and the Organization and the possibility of Iraq joining the membership of the Organization.' According to the statement, the Ambassador also listened to a brief presentation on the organization's most prominent initiatives aimed at developing the digital economy in member states. The visit concluded, according to the statement, with a tour of the organization's departments, where the ambassador and her accompanying delegation learned about the activities and tasks carried out by the organization's employees. The ambassador thanked the Secretary-General for the good reception, wished her continued success, and looked forward to working together to enhance cooperation and invest in the opportunities available for Iraq to join the organization and its development initiatives and programmes.'
