Sulaymaniyah: Iraq announced Wednesday that its air defenses shot down three drones in the skies over the city of Sulaymaniyah in the northeast of the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, a security source stated that the three drones were brought down after being detected flying in the skies southwest of Sulaymaniyah, with no human casualties or material damage reported.

Earlier in the day, Iraq announced that its air defenses had shot down a drone in the vicinity of Baghdad International Airport.
