Iraq’s Imports From Turkey Amounted To $2.7 Billion During The First Quarter Of 2023

The Turkish Statistics Authority announced today, Tuesday that Turkey's exports to Iraq during the first quarter of this year amounted to 2.7 billion dollars.

The authority said in statistics that "the volume of Turkish exports to Iraq during the months of January, February and March of the year 2023 amounted to 2,710,179 dollars, of which 866,808 dollars were exports for January, 731,758 dollars were exports for February, and 1,112,202 dollars were exports of March."

It added, "Turkey's exports to Iraq during the first quarter of this year decreased by 12.3% compared to the first quarter of last year 2022, which represents 4.4% of Turkey's exports to the world."

Iraq imports most of its needs of goods and commodities from neighboring countries, especially Turkey and Iran, in addition to importing from China, the largest exporter of commodities in the world.
