Gaza: A Palestinian was killed today by Israeli forces in Rafah, southern Gaza, bringing the death toll in the city to three since Saturday morning. Medical sources confirmed the death of a citizen shot by Israeli forces east of Rafah. Earlier today, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Abu Halawa area, also east of the city.
According to Qatar News Agency, five Palestinians were injured in an Israeli airstrike on Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza. Medical sources reported that the drone targeted a bulldozer belonging to the Egyptian-Qatari committee that was clearing rubble in Beit Hanoun.
The total casualties from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza have risen to 48,446 deaths and 111,852 injuries since October 7, 2023. Although a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israeli forces came into effect on January 19, ending the war that began on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces continue to violate the terms of the agreement with repeated airstrikes and shootings in various parts of Gaza.
