Jordan: Jordan's King Abdullah II discussed regional developments with Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Masrour Barzani in a telephone call on Wednesday.

According to Qatar News Agency, King Abdullah stressed, during the call, the importance of the immediate cessation of Iranian attacks on countries in the region and reaching a comprehensive and lasting de-escalation through pursuing dialogue and diplomatic channels.

He warned of the risk of exploiting the ongoing situation in the region as a pretext to impose a new reality in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
