Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index lost 2.01 points to reach 8,904.52 points, a decrease of 0.02 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, as many as 600.8 million shares valued at KWD 113.5 million (roughly USD 371 million) were traded via 30,780 transactions. The Main Market Index saw an increase of 11.16 points, reaching 8,613.18 points, up by 0.13 percent, with 330.3 million shares traded through 16,975 transactions valued at KWD 48 million (roughly USD 146.8 million).
The Premier Market Index, however, experienced a decline, losing 4.93 points to settle at 9,428.58 points, down by 0.05 percent. This was achieved through 234.7 million shares traded across 13,854 transactions valued at KWD 78.5 million (roughly USD 240.2 million).
Meanwhile, the Bourse Main 50 Index also witnessed a drop, losing 3.40 points to end at 9,474.43 points, down by 0.04 percent, with a stock volume of 257.4 million shares executed in 12,318 deals valued at KWD 36.8 million (roughly USD 112.6 million).
