Lekhwiya: The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) has enrolled the first batch of volunteers in the specialized training program in search and rescue and disaster management.

According to Qatar News Agency, the program is part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Qatar Voluntary Center, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Culture. The training is conducted by the Qatar Search and Rescue Team.

The initiative underscores the important role of youth in national service, aiming to prepare qualified national cadres in emergency response and crisis management. This effort is expected to enhance the nation's readiness in dealing with disasters.
