Lusail University Holds Graduation Ceremony for Over 900 Students

Lusail: Lusail University celebrated on Monday the graduation ceremony of its third batch of students, with more than 900 graduates, including 63 percent of Qataris, held at Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC). HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater attended the ceremony, alongside a number of Their Excellencies senior officials in the country, as well as members of the academic and administrative staff and guardians of the graduates.

According to Qatar News Agency, President of Lusail University Dr. Nizam Hindi emphasized the importance of science and knowledge as the foundation for societal advancement and nation-building. He highlighted that the first message in Islam was a call to read and seek knowledge. Dr. Hindi described graduation day as a moment to celebrate the fruits of years of hard work, noting that it marks both the conclusion of an academic journey and the commencement of a new path where graduates contribute to the community and turn knowledge into tangible impact.

Dr. Hindi further elaborated on the university's commitment since its inception to provide a gateway for acquiring skills and experiences, engaging with global issues, and anticipating future challenges. He stressed the institution's dedication to fostering values such as discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. Moreover, he highlighted the university's ongoing efforts to enhance educational programs and align them with labor market demands and rapid global transformations, positioning graduates as a scientific force for the future.

In his address to the graduates, Dr. Hindi urged them to uphold ethics and responsibility, leveraging their acquired knowledge and skills in service of their homelands and communities. He remarked on the vast opportunities the future holds, asserting that only those with determination and willpower can seize them.
