Mass rallies in Iran to commemorate the International Quds Day

Mass marches started in the capital city of Tehran to commemorate the International Quds Day, and to express support for the Palestinian people and rejection of the Israeli occupation.

The march in Tehran began with the massive participation of Iranian citizens, and carried the slogan “Palestine is the focus of the unity of the Islamic world, Jerusalem is on the threshold of liberation “, IRNA news agency reported .

Participants raised Palestinian flags and banners praising the Palestinian cause, calling for supporting Palestinian people, and denouncing the Zionist crimes.

The Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said in a press statement, “The message of participating in the Quds Day marches is the embodiment of the unity and cohesion of the Islamic nation, and the normalization with the Zionist entity has not and will not achieve security and stability.”

In a concluding statement, the participants stressed the need to condemn the attack on al-Aqsa Mosque and desecrating it by the Zionist entity that carries out these criminal acts to cover its internal crises .

The statement also condemned the silence of the international community and human rights institutions regarding the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist entity.
