Doha: HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani has held talks with leading representatives of the country's private sector as the government seeks to strengthen business confidence and support economic growth.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting, held in Doha on Thursday, brought together officials from the Qatar Chamber and the Qatari Businessmen Association as part of a series of regular consultations between the ministry and the business community.
Discussions focused on the main challenges currently facing private companies, as well as proposals aimed at improving the country's business environment and supporting ongoing economic development initiatives. HE Sheikh Faisal expressed the ministry's commitment to deepening cooperation with the private sector, emphasizing its role in driving economic growth. He highlighted the importance of these meetings in creating direct communication channels with business leaders, which would help the government understand the challenges faced by companies and incorporate their feedback into future policies.
Participants also reviewed the impact of current economic and commercial changes on companies operating in Qatar. They examined measures designed to alleviate potential pressures on businesses.
