The First Year of Marriage Program is a pioneering family program in rehabilitating those planning to get married and guiding new couples to a stable and successful family life. It aims to create and strengthen a state of family cohesion, reducing divorce rates in Qatari society, and identifying its causes, by addressing the factors leading to it.

The program aims to support young families to reach a stable and successful family life, qualify new and soon-to-be married couples to overcome the obstacles of marital life, and raise community awareness of the rights and duties of spouses within the framework of Islamic law, which calls for strengthening the bonds of partnership between spouses, affection and mercy.
