The Basra Governorate Police Command announced today, Wednesday, the arrest of a person accused of selling narcotic pills red-handed in one of the areas of the governorate center. The Command explained in a statement that the detachments of the 4th Police Emergency Regiment arrested an accused drug trafficker and seized in his possession a quantity of narcotic pills, a pistol, and a Kalashnikov rifle. This was done by gathering information and setting up an elaborate ambush that resulted in his arrest.
