Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to respect its obligations and implement the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) immediately and before it is too late. The ministry said in a statement issued Tuesday that the use of a map by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that includes the West Bank for the occupying state is a disregard for international legitimacy and its resolutions, the international will for peace and signed agreements, and a blatant challenge to international efforts to stop the genocide and displacement and revive the peace process on the basis of the two-state solution. The ministry indicated that it views with great seriousness this gross violation of international law, especially since the occupation is practicing the most heinous forms of crimes against the Palestinian people, in a practical embodiment of an attempt to deny the Palestinian existence and their just and legitimate national rights on the path to displacing them from their homeland. Netanyahu's visible racist and expansionist policies necessitate that the international community fulfill its obligations and enforce the ICJ's advisory opinion. Source: Qatar News Agency
