The committee member confirmed that there is a parliamentary rejection of the memoranda of understanding that attempt to undermine Iraqi sovereignty and pave the way for violations by Turkish forces and give legal cover for the aerial bombardment of border villages in northern Iraq,' noting that 'the Turkish violations on Iraqi territory have turned into an explicit Turkish occupation of those areas.'
