Dr. Jalila bint S.Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, received Dr. Khalid Al Awadhi, Bahrain Pharmacists Society's President.

Dr. Maryam Al Jalahma, CEO of the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA), and Ibrahim Al Nawakhtha, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), were present.

The minister affirmed the society's role in developing the profession of pharmacy, qualifying specialized cadres, and providing medicines, medical supplies and materials.

The meeting reviewed cooperation and discussed the establishment of a drug examination laboratory in Bahrain.

Dr. Jalila stressed the ministry's interest in improving the level of pharmaceutical services, wishing the society and its affiliates all success.

Dr. Al Awadhi praised the efforts of the Health Ministry to develop health services in Bahrain, pointing out that the society is keen to continue working to develop the pharmaceutical health services.
