Plan to Attract Female Students of Preparatory School to Join Technical Specializations

Ms. Rooza Ouwaida Al Nuaimi, Principal of Qatar Technical Secondary School for Girls, has disclosed that she has plans to increase numbers of academic and technical cadres in the school during the upcoming academic year, coinciding with opening Grade 12. This also includes organizing campaigns to attract female students of preparatory school to join the school by running promotional programs and organizing field visits to school in order to introduce students to specializations offered by the School, as Al Nuaimi said.

Al Nuaimi said that the School offers 3 technical specializations in information technology, lab technologies and electronics, with the aim of increasing the percentage of Qatarization in women technical jobs in all sectors, as well as promoting women technical education and training in the State of Qatar, thus using various resources for qualifying and developing women technical cadres.
