PSC calls for an investigation into the escape and causes of death of the former head of the Sunni Endowment Office

The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, with its chairman and members, demanded today, Thursday, the Prime Minister to form a joint investigation committee between the Ministries of Interior and Health to find out the circumstances of the escape and the causes of the death of the former head of the Sunni Endowment Office, Saad Hamid Kambash.

The Committee stated in a statement that the Security and Defense Committee, and its oversight duty, will form a sub-committee to follow up the course of the investigation regarding how the convict Kambash escaped from the Karada Maryam police station, and the committee will closely follow up the forensic report to reveal the causes of death.

The Committee affirmed that it would not allow the matter to pass without knowing its details and submitting recommendations to be submitted to the Presidency of the House of Representatives.
