Purebred Arabian Camel for HH the Amir’s Sword: 6 Silver Trophies Awarded on Day 5

Doha: The Jadha'a camels' race (3-4 years old) continued Wednesday on the fifth day of the Annual Purebred Arabian Camel Racing Festival for the Sword of HH the Amir, held at Al Sheehaniya and Lebsair tracks with wide GCC participation. The day's competitions were strong, featuring 55 Jadha'a races (general category) over 6 kilometers across morning and evening sessions, including six silver trophies.

According to Qatar News Agency, the morning session saw impressive performances as Nawa and Madmak claimed the main Qatar Production titles. Notably, Shath recorded the fastest time of 9:02:82 minutes, setting a high standard for the day's races.

In the evening session, six silver symbols were awarded, marking a significant highlight of the festival. Al Rabaa, Fal, and Jood emerged victorious in the main Bakar titles, each securing a silver shalfa and a prize of QR 1.5 million, showcasing their exceptional racing capabilities.

In the Qa'dan races, Marmoush, Hamloul, and Muthhil captured the top titles, demonstrating remarkable speed and agility. Each winner was awarded a silver traditional dagger (khanjar) along with QR 1 million. Hamloul stood out by recording the best evening time of 8:56:87 minutes, further enhancing the excitement of the festival.
