Kuwait- The Qatari men's national table tennis began their campaign at the third GCC Games with two victories on Sunday.
In their first match, Team Qatar defeated UAE 3-0 then they overpowered Bahrain 3-0 in their second match.
On the other hand, Qatar's Mubarak Shanan qualified to the quarterfinals of men's tennis event after his 6-0 6-1 victory over Omar Ahmadi of UAE.
Kuwait leads the standings of the third GCC Games with 59 medals including 22 gold medals, 19 silver medals and 18 bronze medals ahead of Bahrain in the second place with 45 medals including 17 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 12 bronze medals while Qatar occupies the third place with 39 medals including 12 gold medals, 15 silver medals and 9 bronze medals.
