Qatar Takes Part in Preparatory Session for Upcoming Arab-European Ministerial Meeting

Cairo: The State of Qatar participated in the Arab coordination meeting at the level of permanent delegates to the Arab League, held at the General Secretariat's headquarters in Cairo. This meeting was convened to discuss and follow up on the preparations for the 6th Arab-European ministerial meeting, which is scheduled to take place in Amman, Jordan, on June 22-23.

According to Qatar News Agency, the delegation from Qatar was led by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Sheikh Jassim bin Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad Al-Thani. The meeting focused on finalizing the arrangements for the forthcoming ministerial meeting and reviewing the draft declaration to be adopted. This initiative is part of joint Arab coordination efforts aimed at ensuring the meeting yields results that reflect a convergence of positions and enhance the prospects for Arab-European cooperation.

The upcoming Arab-European ministerial meeting in Amman is part of ongoing efforts by both the Arab and European sides to maintain dialogue and strengthen mechanisms for joint cooperation between Arab countries and the European Union.
