Qatari Newspapers Highlight Return to Work Amidst Emphasis on Safety and Efficiency

Doha: Qatari newspapers focused their Tuesday editorials on the announcement from the Council of Ministers Secretariat General regarding the resumption of work in all ministries, government entities, and public institutions, starting today. This return to work is seen as a testament to the state's ability to efficiently handle challenges and adapt to various circumstances.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement urging strict adherence to safety instructions and guidelines within workplace premises following the decision to return to work. The ministry emphasized the need for continued compliance with precautionary measures to ensure the safety of employees and visitors and the seamless continuation of operations. It also called on entities to raise awareness among employees and visitors regarding these guidelines and to enforce them effectively to promote a safe work environment and maintain readiness for any possible developments.

Al-Raya newspaper commented on the decision to end the remote work period that began in early March, marking a return to work across all ministries and public bodies, including essential facilities such as Hamad Medical Corporation clinics and Qatar University campus. The newspaper reiterated the Ministry of Interior's emphasis on strict adherence to occupational safety guidelines and the need for entities to review and update their security protocols comprehensively.

In its editorial, Al-Raya concluded by stating that these measures are part of a broader national strategy to create a risk-immune work environment, capable of handling emergencies with flexibility and readiness.

Al-Sharq newspaper also highlighted the announcement by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers about the return to work, which reflects the state's high efficiency in managing challenges and adapting to circumstances. The newspaper noted Qatar's crisis management capabilities through established plans and strategies, executed through coordinated efforts between military, security, and civilian service institutions.

Concluding its editorial, Al-Sharq praised the courage and efficiency of Qatar's armed forces and security personnel, whose efforts ensured internal stability and continuity of essential services. This coordination has affirmed Qatar's preparedness to handle any scenario it might face.
