Doha: Qatar News Agency concluded on Thursday a training course on' Website Content Management and Analysis', as part of a series of courses organized to develop skills of media personnel in digital media and online content. The course, which lasted five days and included a group of QNA employees and participants from relevant government sectors in Qatar, aimed to enhance participants' abilities in preparing and managing online content, from planning a website as a media project to execution and analysis. The course covered various topics, notably content preparation in its different forms, such as journalistic editing and interaction with multimedia, as well as techniques for search engine optimization (SEO) and managing social media accounts to increase exposure. Held in QNA Training Halls, the course also emphasized interactive news editing that incorporates opinions, surveys, and comments. Participants were trained in producing video content, including podcasts discussing specific issues, and selecting appropriate images for publication. At the conclusion of the course, participants presented graduation projects related to developing websites and designing homepages, which were discussed during the closing session. In March 2023, Qatar News Agency inaugurated QNA Training Halls at its headquarters, in line with its vision to develop media personnel through specialized training programs to enrich the media landscape with qualified young Qatari talent capable of keeping pace with changes and developments in this important field.
