According to Qatar News Agency, with the result, Real Madrid moved to 73 points in second place, while Mbappe leads the league's scoring chart with 24 goals. Alaves remains 17th with 33 points.
In the same round, Real Betis beat Girona 3-2. Goals for Betis were scored by Marc Roca (23rd minute), Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (63rd), and Rodrigo Riquelme (80th). Girona's goals came from Viktor Tsyhankov (7th) and Azzedine Ounahi (68th, penalty). Betis moved up to fifth place with 49 points, while Girona remained 11th with 38 points.
Athletic Bilbao also defeated Osasuna 1-0, with the goal scored by Gorka Guruzeta in the 16th minute. Bilbao moved to ninth with 41 points, while Osasuna is 10th with 39.
Valencia drew 1-1 with Mallorca, moving to 13th with 36 points, while Mallorca is 14th with 35.
Barcelona leads the standings with 79 points and could extend its lead over Real Madrid to nine points if it defeats Celta Vigo on Wednesday.
