Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense reported Monday that its air defense systems destroyed 28 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory overnight.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that its systems intercepted and destroyed 28 Ukrainian drones: 12 over Bryansk Oblast, 12 over Rostov Oblast, two over Crimea, one over Krasnodar, and one over the Sea of Azov.

Confrontations between Russian and Ukrainian forces have continued since the beginning of the Russian military operation in February 2022, while the military situation on the border continues to escalate in some areas.
