Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that its air defense systems destroyed 46 Ukrainian drones over several Russian provinces overnight.

According to Qatar News Agency, a statement from the Ministry detailed that 41 drones were neutralized over Belgorod Oblast. Additionally, two drones were downed over Bryansk and Kursk Oblasts, and one drone was destroyed over Oryol Oblast.

Russia and Ukraine have been involved in daily exchanges of announcements regarding the downing of drones targeting each other’s territories. This is part of the ongoing conflict between the two nations, which began in February 2022.
