Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced Wednesday the interception and destruction of four ballistic missiles. Major General Turki Al Maliki, the ministry's official spokesperson, stated that the missiles were launched towards the city of Riyadh and were successfully intercepted and destroyed.

According to Qatar News Agency, earlier on Wednesday, the Saudi Ministry of Defense also reported the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles launched towards the Eastern Province.
