The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, issued today, Monday a decree appointing Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister, and assigning him to nominate members of the new Cabinet, according to the Kuwait News Agency 'KUNA'. This comes after Sheikh Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of Kuwait, submitted his resignation to the Emir of the country, Sheikh Mishaal, a day after the results of the National Assembly elections were announced.
