Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, the Shura Council Chairman, today met with Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Social Development Minister.

Al Saleh praised the ongoing cooperation between the legislative and executive branches, hailing the the positive outcomes of the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for enhancing the integration between the two branches to achieve the aspirations of the leadership and citizens.

The Shura Chairman praised the minister for his keenness on using the ministry’s potential to provide services and social support to citizens, affirming the legislative branch's follow-up on the strategies and programmes provided by the ministry, including care, development, and protection to the beneficiaries from all segments of Bahraini society.

The minister affirmed the keenness to further advance the ongoing cooperation with the legislative branch, and the continuous work to develop ways and outputs that meet the efforts of the legislative and executive branches during the next stage, for the benefit of the country and the citizens.
