The General Assembly of the International Padel Federation elected the Secretary-General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash, Padel, and Badminton Federation, Tariq Zainal as President of the newly established Asian Padel Federation. The election took place during the 34th General Assembly meeting, held today in Doha, with the participation of presidents and representatives from national federations across 64 countries. The meeting saw the approval to officially establish the Asian Padel Federation and the re-election of Luigi Carraro as President of the International Padel Federation for a new term. Topics included strategies to advance the sport, increase player engagement, and support national federations.
