The end of voting in the Turkish Presidential and Parliamentary elections and the results will be this evening

The Supreme Electoral Commission in Turkey announced the end of voting in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections across the country, after it lasted for nine hours.

The Supreme Elections Commission said in a statement that the polls had closed in all polling stations at five o'clock in the evening, and that the results would be announced later this evening.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan cast his vote in Istanbul, while the candidate of the opposition coalition, Kemal Kilicdaroglu, cast his vote in the capital, Ankara.
