The Ministry of Finance in the Kurdistan Regional Government announced, on Tuesday, that the federal government had deposited a sum of 200 billion dinars to finance the salaries of employees and workers in the public sector in the region.

The Ministry said in a statement: "In implementation of the decision of the Federal Government Council of Ministers, 200 billion dinars have been transferred from Baghdad to the ministry's bank account."
