The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, stressed today, Thursday, the necessity of accurately implementing the security plan in Al-Bataween area in the capital, Baghdad. According to a statement by the Ministry of Interior, Al-Shammari praised the great efforts made by the security agencies, Baghdad Al-Rusafa Operations Command, Rusafa Police Command, and other specialized departments that participated in a large security operation in Al-Bataween area in Baghdad, which will last several days. According to the statement, the Minister stressed the necessity of working in accordance with the plans that were drawn up to make this operation successful, which aims to arrest wanted persons and violators, in addition to carrying out raids and inspections of the wanted targets as well as suspicious places in a precise manner.
