The President: The Judiciary Is The Main Pillar For Consolidating The Standards Of Justice And The Rule Of Law

The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, affirmed that the judiciary is the main pillar for consolidating the standards of justice and the rule of law.

This came during his visit today, Wednesday, to the Supreme Judicial Council, where he met with the President of the Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan.

The media office of the Presidency of the Republic said, "During the meeting, they discussed the general situation in the country, the judicial and justice processes, the file of detainees and convicts, and the need to quickly resolve their cases in accordance with legal procedures, and the importance of ensuring the independence of the judiciary and preserving its prestige was emphasized.

Rashid emphasized that the judiciary is the main pillar for consolidating the standards of justice and the rule of law that protect the rights, money and property of citizens, stressing the need to support the government to implement its government program.

It added, "The President of the Supreme Judicial Council reviewed the procedures for resolving the files of the detainees, and the legislation and legal regulations that require work to be enacted in a way that supports security and stability and guarantees a decent and safe life for citizens.

Rashid pointed out the importance of cooperation between the Presidency of the Republic and the Supreme Judicial Council in the relevant fields and related to legislation and laws.
