Doha: Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti discussed Monday the situation in Libya with Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) and Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya Hanna Serwaa Tetteh. During the meeting, Nafti reiterated Tunisia’s commitment to continuing to support UN efforts in Libya and the mandate of the UN mission, and its readiness to contribute to efforts that would support dialogue, consensus, and reconciliation efforts in order to reach a lasting Libyan-Libyan political solution as this would enable the country to restore its security and stability and strengthen the bonds of peace and development in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, the UN official reviewed the mission’s plan in Libya.
